Meet Declaration Deadlines & Group Assignments

There are some Meet Declaration deadlines that are fast approaching. With families schedules turning upside down as yet another school year crawls mercifully to its end, please help me map out your swimmer's summer meet schedule in advance.

The following is a list of upcoming meets including their dates, locations, the groups attending, and the declaration deadline:

Please notice that we have specifically designated the State Games as an opportunity for our BB & below swimmers to attend a local long course meet. If your swimmer is looking to test long course waters, this is your meet! BB & below swimmers are also encouraged to attend some of the other meets on our long course schedule. But they should not be attending all. There is certainly such a thing as too much competition, especially when you factor in their Tuesday night CSA meets.

If you have any trouble choosing your swimmer's meets, please let me or your group coach know and we will be happy to make suggestions. Parents of JO & Senior Champs qualifiers... we will be communicating with you and your swimmers regarding their recommended meet schedules.

Lastly... please remember that the deadline to declare for both the YSST Summer Invite and the Furniture City Invite is Monday, June 2. Due to the avalanche of meets in June and July and the travel costs for all involved, the teams attendance at the YSST meet will be contingent on our entry numbers. So please let me know if your swimmer wishes to attend.
